All registered pilgrims will be allocated one of the 1-3star graded hotel establishments, carefully selected by the Mini World Youth Day sub-committee. Safety and comfort was of most importance during the careful selection process and we are happy to announce the following hotels as the official accommodation establishments for Mini World Youth Day 2017.

Please Note the Accommodation Allocation Arrangements
  • Will be based on 4 youth per room sharing a bedroom and bathroom respectively.
  • Allocated according to gender and to remain with their respective groups in the same housing establishment.
  • Accommodation allocation is at the discretion of the organising committee.

This Durban beach hotel lies within easy reach of Durban’s popular South Beach and is within easy reach of the Durban Exhibtion Centre.

Important To Remember
The Secretariat and Diocese will not be responsible for swapping of room allocations.
Accommodation includes bedding, bathroom towel and a packed continental breakfast that will be distributed by pilgrims. Any extra costs incurred will be the responsibility of the relevant individual.
Pilgrim and delegate check-in will be from 2pm onwards on Wednesday, 6 December 2017.
Pilgrims will need to check-out by 11am on Saturday, 9 December 2017.
The Secretariat and Archdiocese of Durban do not accept any liability for loss or damage to person(s) or their property.

In addition to the Breakfast pack that will be distributed by pilgrims at all housing establishments, lunch and supper will be provided at the conference venue (The Durban Exhibition Centre) along with a refreshment, and vegetarian meals will also be provided as indicated.
During registration, pilgrims will be issued a meal ticket and are to insure they keep this safe as it needs to be presented in order to collect your meals.
Other food items will also be available for purchase at the venue and all official caterers duly comply with the City Health and Safety standards and regulations.
