Catechetical Sessions

What are the Catechetical Sessions?
Catechetical sessions are a moment where young people gather around the bishop to learn from his experience of faith.
This will be an opportunity for young people not only to listen and learn from the bishop’s story, but from other young people and other teachers of faith. The bishop may be accompanied by other bishops and priests who may share a little as they answer questions from young people.
The Catechetical sessions will be taking place on two days of the programme, Thursday 7 December and Saturday 9 December.
Thursday, 7 December will be looking at the Faith of young people and Saturday, 9 December will be dedicated to the Vocations of young people, helping them to recognize and respond to the voice of God calling them to different ministries and way of life.
The Catechetical session programme will start with a morning prayer, followed by an hour’s lesson and an hour for sharing, questions and answers. Ending with praise and worship.
Further population of the lesson’s theme and interesting topics addressed will be posted so be sure to revisit the website.
Should you be interested in actively taking part in these sessions, sharing your faith as a youth, or how you recognized and responded to the voice of God calling in your life.
