PROCEDURE to register to attend the MINI WORLD YOUTH DAY

  • Registrations must and can only be completed by the Parish or Diocese Coordinators and Chaplains.
  • Your Parish or Diocese Coordinator and Chaplain have the necessary information which is required.
  • Please provide all the necessary personal information in the information checklist which is available from your Parish .
  • Alternately click here to download the information checklist.
  • Only registrations that have been completed by the Parish or Diocese Coordinator will be processed, invoices will be sent to each Parish for payment and confirmation of registration.
  • Any Pilgrim under the age of 18 years wanting to participate and be registered, will only be able to partake if accompanied by a chaperone who is between the ages of 25-35 years of age. Please refer to FAQ for more details.
  • Please take note that the following procedure and completion of documentation must be followed for under age youth to participate and attend.
    • Parental Consent form – certified;
    • Chaperone Consent form with copy of ID – certified;
    • Acknowledgement of responsibility from the Bishop in which Diocese the youth and appointed chaperone are from;
    • Both the youth and chaperon must complete the online registration and pay to attend.
    • Chaperone must be a minimum of 25 years, the same gender as the minor and from the same Parish, known to both the parents and the minor, and acknowledged within the Parental Consent form.

MINI WORLD YOUTH DAY PILGRIM FEE STRUCTURE

All Package 1 registration spaces have been filled and are no longer an available for registration.

Then again Only limited R2250 registration is still available for late registrations.

Late Registration only confirmed on full payment received.

FULL PILGRIM REGISTRATION PACKAGE 2 R2250.00
The registration fee includes:

  • 3 Nights’ accommodation at one of the appointed Housing establishments confirmed by the Accommodation Sub-Committee. 3 Star Graded Establishments
  • All catechetical sessions

Catering will be provided as Follows:

  • Wednesday 06th – supper
  • Thursday 07th – Breakfast pack at the Housing establishment, lunch and supper at the Conference Venue.
  • Friday 08th – Breakfast pack at the Housing establishment, lunch and supper at the Conference Venue.
  • Saturday 09th – Breakfast pack at the Housing establishment, lunch and supper at the Conference Venue.
  • Sunday 10th – A simple breakfast pack will be provided.
  • Pilgrim pack and contents
  • Participation at Days in Parish

( Please NOTE TRANSPORT to and from the days in the parish to the Durban Exhibition Centre is not included and for your own arrangement )

 

REGISTRATION FOR VOCATION STAND APPLICANTS ONLY R1000.00
No Accommodation provided but the registration fee includes:

  • All catechetical sessions

Catering will be provided as Follows:

  • Friday 08th – Lunch and Supper at the Conference Venue

Terms and Conditions

REGISTRATION

  • The secretariat needs to receive fully completed registration form with full prepayment before confirmation of participation and attendance will be issued.
  • The current MWYD registration is closed.
    However only a limited number of the R2250 package is still available for late registrations.
    Late Registration only confirmed on full payment received.
  • Replacements within group registrations will be permitted at a charge of R250 per name change. Name changes and or any changes must be received in writing by the group coordinator in order to be applied.
  • No onsite registration or late registrations will be accepted due to capacity and financial arrangements.
  • Cancellations and no shows will not be refunded.
  • Pilgrims who have registered but not paid by the 30th August 2017 will be cancelled on the system and will not be permitted to participate.
